KBB manufactures exhaust-gas turbochargers with axial and radial turbines for medium-speed and high-speed diesel and gas engines for marine applications, generator stations and locomotive construction.
KBB's exhaust-gas turbochargers can be used on four-stroke diesel and gas engines in the output range from 500 to 4,800 kW. Exhaust-gas turbochargers with a radial or axial turbine are currently manufactured in Bannewitz. Kompressorenbau Bannewitz which has developed seven generations of exhaust-gas turbochargers between 1953 and the present day.
Between 1953 and 2013 more than 60.000 turbochargers from different generations of technological development representing an overall engine output of around 45 GW have left the factory in Bannewitz.
Actually we are working on the 8th Generation (K2B-Series / two-stage turbocharging). KBB places great store in a global after sales service provided by qualified specialists. The KBB service network comprises more than 45 certified service stations with fully trained staff across the globe.
